Refund Policy

TAG Pathway Refund Policy

Introduction

At TAG Pathway, we are deeply grateful for the donations and contributions that help us support vulnerable mothers and children. As a UK-based non-profit organisation, we aim to ensure transparency and compliance with all relevant laws regarding refunds for charitable donations and payments.

This policy sets out the conditions under which refunds may be issued and the procedures for handling refund requests.

1. Donations

As a general rule, donations made to TAG Pathway are considered final and non-refundable. This is in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and general charity law in the UK. However, we recognise that there may be exceptional circumstances where a refund request is necessary.

Exceptional circumstances may include:

  • A donation was made in error (e.g., the wrong amount was donated or it was duplicated).

  • The donor had a change of heart within a reasonable timeframe (generally within 14 days of the donation).

  • Fraudulent activity or unauthorised donations.

In such cases, we will review the refund request and may, at our discretion, issue a refund.

2. Refund Request Procedure

If you believe a refund is warranted, please contact us at [insert contact details] within 14 days of the donation date, providing:

  • Your full name and contact information.

  • The date and amount of the donation.

  • The reason for requesting a refund.

We will acknowledge your request within 5 working days and aim to resolve the issue within 14 working days of receipt of the request.

Refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for the original donation and can take up to 10 working days to appear in your account.

3. Event Payments

For ticketed events or activities hosted by TAG Pathway, we operate a refund policy in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • If an event is cancelled by TAG Pathway, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.

  • If you are unable to attend an event, you may request a refund up to 7 days before the event date.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event, except in cases of emergency or illness, at the discretion of TAG Pathway.

4. Sponsorships and Corporate Contributions

For corporate sponsorships or larger contributions (such as room sponsorships or programme funding), the terms of refunds will generally be detailed in the partnership agreement. If no specific agreement exists, refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, considering the use of the funds to date.

5. Financial Reporting and Transparency

TAG Pathway is committed to transparency in our financial dealings. All donations are allocated to our programmes in line with our mission to support mothers and children. Any issues related to refunds or the use of funds can be discussed directly with us to ensure donor satisfaction and compliance with UK laws.

6. Changes to This Policy

TAG Pathway reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time to reflect changes in UK law or operational requirements. Any updates will be posted on our website, and where appropriate, we will notify donors by email.
